Women in street art

Photo Catherine Gras

To celebrate women’s day, a collection of portraits on the walls. Most of the pictures were taken in Berlin, my favourite playground for street art.

Let’s start with El bocho, sad women, victims. This artist is well represented in Berlin in general and in the Prenzlauer Berg district in particular. The drawings are often larger than the actual size.

Portrait galleries like the one on the right in Mauer Park probably no longer exist, covered by other drawings in a constant movement of creation:

In medium format, at the height of passers-by.

And finally in monumental versions!

If you liked it, I posted more street art photos in Berlin recently: https://wherever-it-is.com/2021/12/05/street-art-in-berlin/
