Tour des Ecrins: contrasts and saturated light

The Tour des Ecrins is a magnificent hike. Located in the Southern Alps in France, the landscape is mostly mineral.

When the weather is good, the raw light gives photos all in contrast and saturation, a little hard but it reflects perfectly the atmosphere of these days in (high) mountains.

The blue sky invites you to take a dip, the flowers become giants … and it’s also a good reason to lie down on the grass and take photos at ground level.

Only in the tourist offices does the sky always remain blue, it also rains in the south of the Alps and when the fog gets involved … you have to keep your camera at hand.

And when you do this tour of the Ecrins with close friends, you reach new heights of happiness.
