It is sometimes possible to find a theme that goes well with grey and cloudy weather.

Of course a beautiful storm, a lead-coloured sky, a thunderstorm, are very good circumstances for taking pictures. But it is not the same with low clouds and drizzle.

This is what happened to me on a visit to Munich, a day of drizzling rain with no hope of improvement.

So let’s head for the Olympic stadium, hoping that the concrete buildings from the early 1970s and the metal structures will be sufficiently photogenic.
