A new category in my publications to bring together buildings that I find representative of modernism. It’s all very subjective, of course!
Firstly, on the concept of modernism, here I’m concentrating on the 1920s to 1960s. Then there’s the buildings themselves, which are my favourites, especially those for which I have both exterior and interior photos.
The categories may overlap, so don’t be surprised to find some of these posts in the pages devoted to Berlin, the city and industrial culture.
